Job Responsibilities of the CNA/Home Health Aide:
- Personal Care Assistance: Help clients with daily hygiene tasks like bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral care.
- Companionship and Emotional Support: Offer social interaction and companionship, bringing joy and comfort to clients.
- Meal Preparation & Nutritional Support: Assist with meal prep, feeding, and grocery shopping while adhering to clients' dietary needs.
- Household Management: Ensure a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for clients.
- Health Observation & Reporting: Monitor client’s physical and mental well-being, documenting and reporting significant changes to the care team.
- Mobility Assistance: Safely assist clients with movement and transfers.
- Health Practices Reinforcement: Provide guidance to clients and families to reinforce positive health habits and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Must have or be willing to complete Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
- Active driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.
- Ability to work independently with strong communication skills.
