Are you looking for long daytime shifts as a part-time caregiver – maybe once or twice a week, or maybe repeating several times during the week? Can you spend 8, 10 or even 12 hours caring for a client? Or are you free on Weekends and looking to make extra money?
If any of the preceding sentences describes you, please read on ...
At Close To Home Caregivers we serve elders who need both a helping hand and companionship. Most are in the greater Sarasota-Bradenton area, some living at home, some in assisted living facilities. Currently we are looking for caregivers interested in long DAYTIME shifts – either Weekdays or Weekends. Some clients need occasional help, some need frequent shifts that can provide near full-time hours.
Our clients vary in their conditions and needs. Some simply need a companion/monitor, perhaps a light meal prepared and some dishes washed. Some need help with mobility and the basic activities of daily living. You tell us your preference in clients, and we try to find a good fit.
We greatly value a caregiver with experience, but if you have little or none and are a compassionate, patient, giving person, we can train you. PLEASE NOTE: We cannot hire you if you don't have a reliable vehicle for transportation to shifts, or if you have had a felony.
Starting wage: $17/hour.
Close To Home is a caregiver-centric agency. Our managers are all caregivers who still do shifts. Our goal is to provide companionship, safety, and comprehensive care for our clients ... while at the same making every effort to serve our caregivers, too. We believe that caregivers whose preferences and needs are taken into consideration will in turn provide compassionate care that elevates the quality of life for our clients. Simply put, happy caregivers mean happy clients.

We are a company run by caregivers not business managers. Our mission is to provide superior care and safety for our clients ... but also to retain our caregivers by keeping their needs and preferences uppermost in our scheduling. We try to find shifts that match their preferences, and clients that fit their skills and comfort level. In hiring, we look for caregivers who are compassionate, well-trained, reliable and vigilant. If you are new to caregiving but are empathetic and responsible, and you enjoy helping others, we will train you.
Professional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers. No matter the name, what we all have in common is a calling to care for people in the comfort of their own homes or assisted-living facilities.
This agency is independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the agency, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this agency. All inquiries about employment at this agency should be made directly to the agency location, and not to Home Care Evolution Corporate.
