We are looking for a compassionate, experienced LPN who has a heart for working with children 1:1. in the county of Baltimore for the 2024-2025 School Year,
- Current BLS CPR/AED
- Two (2) years of clinical experience as an LPN, with at least one (1) year in the pediatric care setting.
- $250 SIGN-ON BONUS ***
- Provide and document direct nursing care of assigned patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Nursing care is guided by the physician orders and the nursing plan of care. Patient response to care is reported to a registered nurse for evaluation, intervention and modification of the plan of care. Assist other health care personnel in the delivery of patient care.
- Direct care duties include, but not limited to: Obtaining patient histories and assessments; Vital signs; G-tube and feeding pump management; Diabetes care and Insulin pump management; Medication administration, Tracheotomy care and suctioning; Seizure care and preventive disease management
- Participate in maintaining the environment of care including equipment and other material resources.
- Document all interventions, maintain a system for recording clinical notes and providing them to the health suite on a weekly basis (the health suite is responsible for placing clinical notes in the student’s health file)
- Nurse is REQUIRED to escort student on school bus to and from school
Compensation: $34.00 per hour
