Care to Stay Home, is not just a company; we're a close-knit family dedicated to providing top-notch in-home care to seniors. We are looking for caregivers in the Northern Idaho market interested in doing live in shifts with our clients. We currently have opportunities for caregivers that want to work a 3 or 4 day live-in shift. In this role you work as part of a team with one caregiver working 3 and the other 4 days. These positions live in the clients home 24 hours a day during their assigned days. Caregivers are paid for 16 hours of work per day and are allowed an 8 hour rest period. Client provides a bedroom, bathroom and 3 meals a day while the caregiver is in the household.

Responsibilities:
Our caregivers provide non-medical care to seniors, including:
- Providing essential care and support
- Bathing, grooming, and hygiene assistance
- Meal preparation and cooking
- Stand by and hands on assistance
- Light housekeeping duties
- Medication reminders
- Bedbound care for more critical clients
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum of two years of caregiving experience, preferably with senior clients
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, which include being able to lift up to 40 pounds, help clients of various heights and weights transfer chairs to beds etc, repositioning bed bound clients, and helping on standby by assistance as needed... The role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve client care and mobility requirements.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Reliability to show up for shifts on time and enjoy providing companionship and care for seniors to keep them engaged throughout the day.
- Ability to pass a criminal background and driving record checks with no felonies.
