We are seeking a Home Health Aide to join our team! In this role, you will work directly with clients, following personalized care plans in their homes.
We are seeking a Home Health Aide to join our team! In this role, you will work directly with clients, following personalized care plans in their homes.
You should take a compassionate approach, providing attentive care and building genuine relationships with those you serve. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs are essential.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary for success in this position. Previous experience in Home Health essential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as transferring in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
- Care for clients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, preparing meals, or assisting with personal care
- Maintain records of client care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
- Give medication reminders
- Engage patients in exercises or other activities
Qualifications:
- Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program OR able to pass the Florida Home Health Aide competency test that we will administer prior to your interview.
- High School Diploma or GED
- >Five years prior experience in senior caregiving
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of auto insurance with your name on the policy
- Proof of current CPR certification (Valid means the CPR course was certified by the American Heart Association and includes in-person validation of your skills)
- Ability to pass AHCA background screening
Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
