We are seeking a Care Supervisor to join our team. This is a role where you will make a difference in the lives of seniors and people with disabilities, as well as our current and future care team members. Responsibilities include caring for residents in home, working with bed bound patients, introducing permanent caregivers to clients/family members, communicating with doctors, nurses, families, assisting with personal care needs, light housekeeping, shopping, medication reminders, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and safety. The ideal candidate is confident, compassionate, and reliable with STRONG leadership skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
- Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping activities
- Medication reminders
- Provide companionship
- Assist with errands and shopping
- On-call schedule
- Starting new clients
- Training/Onboarding caregivers
- Quality assurance visits for both caregivers and clients
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred
- First aid and CPR certified preferred
- Ability to lead and educate others
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Compassionate, respectful, ethical
