Care to Stay Home Treasure Valley is  looking for caregivers to join our team! You will be directly working with patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care, but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assisting with bathing, grooming, hygiene and other personal care needs
  • Aid in cooking/meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping tasks, like changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home
  • Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
  • Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor 
  • Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert 
  • Give medication reminders  
  • Engage patients in exercises or other activities
  • Dependability to show up for assigned shifts on time
Shifts Available:
  • Days between 12-hour shifts
  • Overnight- 12 hour awake shifts
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED 
  • At least two years of experience caring for seniors
  • CNA highly desirable but experience will substitute
  • Driver’s license required 
  • CPR certification preferred
