Position Summary:

nursing care tailored to the individual needs of each child.
Responsibilities:
- Supervisory Visits and Education in a Patient's Home.
- Re-evaluation of patients’ skilled nursing/PSS needs
- Work autonomously with minimal assistance by the Clinical Manager
- Maintain patient confidentiality
- Make decisions based on established policies and procedures
- Preparation of the clinical progress notes.
- Informing the family and Registered Nurse of changes in the patients’ condition
or needs. - Administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician in
accordance with currently accepted standards of medical practice - Total patient care
- Patient and family teaching.
- Other services in accordance with and as outlined in the Georgia Licensed
- Professional Nurse Practice Act.
- Reports directly to the Registered Nurse and Clinical Director.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)) must hold a current unencumbered Nursing license to practice in the state of Georgia.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Current Driver’s License
- Current TB Screening
- Current BLS Certification.
- Experience caring for medically fragile individuals.
- Experience in Home Health (preferred).
- Experience in Pediatrics (preferred).
- Working knowledge of the policies and procedures of the Georgia Pediatric Program,
GAPP, (preferred).
Compensation: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
