Care to Stay Home Treasure Valley is looking for a Caregiver to assist us with a client who only needs care 6 hours per week (Two 3-hour shifts). We may be able to add more hours if you are looking for more.
You will be directly working with patients, following a one-on-one care plan in patient homes. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care, but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets patient needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting with bathing, grooming, hygiene and other personal care needs
- Aid in cooking/meal preparation
- Light housekeeping tasks, like changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home
- Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
- Give medication reminders
- Engage patients in exercises or other activities
- Dependability to show up for assigned shifts on time
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least two years of experience caring for seniors
- CNA highly desirable but experience will substitute
- Driver’s license required
- CPR certification preferred

Compensation: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
