About Chanda’s House
Chanda’s House is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing dignified, home-like end-of-life care. We are expanding our impact and seeking a skilled Fundraiser to help us grow our revenue, retire building debt, and strengthen our donor relationships.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Fundraiser to develop, manage, and execute fundraising strategies that support our mission. This role involves securing major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grants, and community-based funding initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in nonprofit fundraising, donor engagement, and campaign management.
Responsibilities
🔹 Develop and implement fundraising strategies to expand revenue for program operations and regional growth.
🔹 Identify and secure funding sources, including major donors, corporate partnerships, grants, and community fundraising efforts.
🔹 Create and manage donor engagement initiatives, ensuring strong relationships with supporters.
🔹 Deepen and refine communication strategies, from web presence to donor relations, to enhance brand awareness.
🔹 Manage fundraising campaigns, including online appeals, events, and direct outreach.
🔹 Ensure all fundraising materials are approved by Chanda’s House and align with legal and ethical fundraising standards.
🔹 Provide detailed reporting on fundraising performance, donor engagement, and financial outcomes.
🔹 Comply with all fundraising regulations, including FTC’s Telemarketing Sales Rule and state laws.

Qualifications
✅ Proven experience in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, or grant writing.
✅ Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to inspire donor support.
✅ Knowledge of legal and ethical fundraising standards.
✅ Ability to work independently and manage multiple fundraising initiatives.
✅ Experience with CRM systems, donor databases, and digital fundraising platforms preferred.

Compensation
💰 Competitive contract-based compensation, structured as a flat fee and/or percentage of funds raised, based on experience and fundraising success.
