Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients during overnight hours.
- Document care activities and report any changes in client condition to management.
- Respond promptly to client needs and emergencies as they arise.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving preferred.
- Previous experience in home care or a caregiving role is required.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Availability to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed.
