The Work
The shifts are flexible — usually 4 to 6 hours — and may fall in the morning, afternoon, or weekend. You might spend time chatting over coffee with someone who just needs companionship. Or you might help a client who needs more hands-on care: bathing, dressing, walking safely, or getting around the house.
Some of our clients have dementia. Others have Parkinson’s. Some are mostly independent but feel lonely or need help with chores. Every person is different — and we take the time to make sure caregivers are thoughtfully matched with clients they’re comfortable with.
The Heart of It
Caregiving isn’t just a job. It’s showing up for someone who needs you — maybe to prepare a simple meal, maybe to lend an ear, maybe just to be there.
You might help a client to the bathroom, keep their home tidy, or walk beside them to prevent a fall. You might drive them to a doctor’s appointment or remind them to take their meds. Most importantly, you’ll be a steady, kind presence in their life.
What You’ll Need:
- A compassionate nature and steady patience.
- Good communication and a strong sense of responsibility.
- A valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Level II background clearance (we can help with that).
- No felony convictions.
- Experience is welcome, but not required — we can provide training.
The Pay
We start at $18/hour. (Adjustments possible in some cases.)

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
We are a company run by caregivers not business managers. Our mission is to provide superior care and safety for our clients ... but also to retain our caregivers by keeping their needs and preferences uppermost in our scheduling. We try to find shifts that match their preferences, and clients that fit their skills and comfort level. In hiring, we look for caregivers who are compassionate, well-trained, reliable and vigilant. If you are new to caregiving but are empathetic and responsible, and you enjoy helping others, we will train you.
Professional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers. No matter the name, what we all have in common is a calling to care for people in the comfort of their own homes or assisted-living facilities.
