About the Role:

Join Tradition Home Health Care as a Home Health Aide (HHA) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients in Brooklyn, NY. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care that empowers individuals to live independently in their own homes.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being to the care team.
Administer prescribed medications and assist with mobility and transfers.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required.
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

Valid HHA certification and current CPR/First Aid certification.
Prior experience in home health care or a similar role preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the service area.
Must pass background checks and drug screening.
Flexible availability to meet clients' needs, including evenings and weekends.

Compensation: $19.50 - $22.00 per hour
