Why Join our staff at Close to Home Caregivers?
Because we are an agency run by caregivers. We know the challenges and rewards of helping those who need care. We make note of your preferences in shifts and clients, then we find clients that are a good fit. We believe that happy caregivers mean happy clients.
So if you have a caring heart, live close enough to care for clients in the Sarasota-Bradenton area ... and are certified as either a CNA or HHA ... we’d love to hear from you.
Who Are Our Clients?
Who Are Our Clients?
- Some need help with mobility, personal care, and daily routines. They may suffer from dementia, Parkinson’s or another disorder.
- Others simply need a kind presence — someone to help with small tasks, share conversation, or lend a hand with meals or laundry.
- Some live at home; some are in a facility but need more attention than the staff can provide.
Shifts:
· If you’re looking for shorter shifts, we have 4-6hrs ... our longer shifts range from 8-12hrs.
· We have Weekday, Weekend and Overnight shifts ... the mix can vary from week to week.
· Eventually, our goal is to find you continuing shifts that fit your life.
What We Need in a Caregiver:
- Patience, compassion, empathy, reliability, and a strong work ethic.

- A Level II background clearance.
- No felony convictions.
Pay:
Starts at $18.00-20.00/hour, with some flexibility in certain circumstances.

We are a company run by caregivers not business managers. Our mission is to provide superior care and safety for our clients ... but also to retain our caregivers by keeping their needs and preferences uppermost in our scheduling. We try to find shifts that match their preferences, and clients that fit their skills and comfort level. In hiring, we look for caregivers who are compassionate, well-trained, reliable and vigilant. If you are new to caregiving but are empathetic and responsible, and you enjoy helping others, we will train you.
Professional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers. No matter the name, what we all have in common is a calling to care for people in the comfort of their own homes or assisted-living facilities.
This agency is independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the agency, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this agency. All inquiries about employment at this agency should be made directly to the agency location, and not to Home Care Evolution Corporate.
