To all of you CNAs and HHAs out there: RISE UP HOMECARE is a rapidly expanding caregiver agency and we need you. We recently moved up a level in our certification, extended our caregiver search from Sarasota-Bradenton to the Venice area ... and reorganized our efforts to sign up new clients. As a result, we’ve recently gone from 200 billable caregiving hours a week – to 900 and climbing. Our director is getting referrals for new clients almost daily.
So we need caregivers who prefer 4-6-8 hour shifts during the day ... and those seeking longer shifts. Perhaps our greatest present need is caregivers able to work 12hr shifts -- on Weekdays, on Weekends and Overnights (such as 8am to 8pm ... or 8pm to 8am).
Our pay rate: HHAs start at $19hr, CNAs at $20hr ... and these numbers can rise a bit as we see how available you are and how dependable. If you are not yet an HHA, we will consider hiring you at $17-18hr, and our staff nurse can train and certify you as an HHA.
Some of our shifts are in the client's home, some are in assisted living facilities. They can range from serving as a companion (monitoring the client’s condition, helping with meal prep, light housekeeping, etc.) ... to providing assistance with mobility and personal tasks such as bathing, dressing and incontinence care.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in caregiving preferred.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with clients and their families.
- Dependability in getting to shifts on time with few call outs.
- Valid driver's license and a vehicle always available with current registration and insurance.
We are different from other caregiving agencies in one very important way -- all of our office staff are caregivers. We know both the difficulties and the rewards of the job -- so we make every effort to find shifts matching your preferences. We believe that if our caregivers are happy, our clients are going to be happy.
Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
We are a company run by caregivers not business managers. Our mission is to provide superior care and safety for our clients ... but also to retain our caregivers by keeping their needs and preferences uppermost in our scheduling. We try to find shifts that match their preferences, and clients that fit their skills and comfort level. In hiring, we look for caregivers who are compassionate, well-trained, reliable and vigilant. If you are new to caregiving but are empathetic and responsible, and you enjoy helping others, we will train you.
Professional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers. No matter the name, what we all have in common is a calling to care for people in the comfort of their own homes or assisted-living facilities.
This agency is independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the agency, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this agency. All inquiries about employment at this agency should be made directly to the agency location, and not to Home Care Evolution Corporate.
