If you are a certified CNA or HHA, we at RISE UP HOMECARE would like to talk with you. We need your expertise.
But we are also looking for people who may not yet have a CNA or an HHA certificate. If you have caregiving experience, our staff nurse canTRAIN YOU as an HHA ... and certify you. We ask for only three basic caregiving qualities -- empathy, patience and reliability (no no-shows at shifts or an abundance of call outs).
We willing to certify new HHAs because we are signing up new clients almost daily and we need dependable caregivers to care for them.
We have a variety of shifts. We regularly have longer shifts -- both DAY shifts (such as 7a - 7p or 8a - 8p) and OVERNIGHT (7p - 7a or 8p - 8a). We also have shifts ranging from 4 hrs to 6 or 8hrs. Some of our shifts are in the client's home, some are in assisted living facilities. They all start with providing safety for our clients, and they can range from:

- serving as a companion (monitoring their condition, helping with meal prep, light housekeeping, etc.) ...
- to providing assistance with mobility and personal tasks such as bathing, dressing and incontinence care.
Requirements:
- You must have a valid Florida Drivers License.
- You must have full access to a car so you can get to shifts on time.
- You must have background clearance currently with the Agency for HealthCare Administration (AHCA) -- what is called Level II clearance. If you do not yet have this clearance, we can guide you through the process.
- You must NOT have had a felony conviction
We are different from other caregiving agencies in one very important way -- all of our office staff are caregivers. We know the job -- both the difficulties and the rewards -- so we make every effort to find shifts matching your preferences and your available days/times. We believe that if our caregivers are happy, our clients are going to be happy.
Compensation: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
We are a company run by caregivers not business managers. Our mission is to provide superior care and safety for our clients ... but also to retain our caregivers by keeping their needs and preferences uppermost in our scheduling. We try to find shifts that match their preferences, and clients that fit their skills and comfort level. In hiring, we look for caregivers who are compassionate, well-trained, reliable and vigilant. If you are new to caregiving but are empathetic and responsible, and you enjoy helping others, we will train you.
Professional caregivers go by many names: homemakers, home care aides, home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, direct care workers. No matter the name, what we all have in common is a calling to care for people in the comfort of their own homes or assisted-living facilities.
This agency is independently owned and operated. Your application will go directly to the agency, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this agency. All inquiries about employment at this agency should be made directly to the agency location, and not to Home Care Evolution Corporate.
