About the Role:
Join Tradition Home Health Care as a Home Health Aide (HHA-PCA) in Brooklyn, NY, where you will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. We are looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support in a home setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health and well-being to healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transportation needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records as required.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.
Requirements:
- Valid HHA or PCA certification in New York State.
- Previous experience in home health care or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for helping others.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility in scheduling.
- Basic understanding of healthcare practices and procedures.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and training as required.
