Position Overview
Position Overview
The Home Care Staffing Coordinator is the operational backbone of our agency. This role requires at least two (2) years of experience in scheduling, staffing, dispatching, or coordination. You will manage caregiver schedules, respond to changes in real time, and help ensure continuity of care for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Schedule caregiver shifts based on client care plans and caregiver availability
• Manage call-offs, last-minute changes, and emergency coverage
• Communicate clearly with caregivers, clients, and internal staff
• Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation
• Support continuity of care and overall client satisfaction
• Collaborate with management to anticipate staffing needs
Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years experience as scheduler, staffer, dispatcher, or coordinator
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Professional, compassionate communication style with strong boundaries
• Proficiency with scheduling or home care software

Peggy’s Home Care Monterey CA trains all Caring Professionals with our customized training that teaches the individuals providing care a holistic approach to highly skilled care.
We engage our Caring Professionals in quarterly free wellness trainings called “Care for the Caregivers”. These trainings offer amazing techniques for stress relief with mindfulness training, acupuncture and self hypnotherapy and meditation practices.
