Caregiver Needed in Hacienda Heights (Part-Time, Immediate Start)

Pay: $18–$21/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM, 6 days per week; The client primarily speaks Mandarin.
Location: Hacienda Heights, CA
Hours may increase in the short term

About the Position

Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda is seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver for a consistent afternoon shift in Hacienda Heights. This role involves working with a senior client in a supportive home environment alongside a family member.

This is a great, steady schedule with the potential for additional hours if things go well (and let’s be honest—those are the cases everyone wants).

What You’ll Be Doing

  •  Assist with daily living activities and mobility around the home 
  •  Provide companionship and engagement 
  •  Prepare meals (light cooking required) 
  •  Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment 
  •  Support routine activities and general day-to-day structure 
  •  Communicate care updates with family and office staff 
Language Note:
The client primarily speaks Mandarin. Caregivers who are able to communicate in Mandarin are strongly preferred, as it enhances the client’s comfort and care experience.

Job Requirements

  •  At least 6 months of professional caregiving experience (home care or facility) 
  •  Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 
  •  Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) in California 
  •  Completed TB test 
  •  Able to pass background screening 
  •  High school diploma or equivalent 
Physical Requirements

  •  Able to work 20+ hours per week 
  •  Able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods 
  •  Able to lift 20–30 pounds 
  •  Able to safely assist with client mobility
