Home Care Services  |  Marketing Department  |  Part-Time for Full-Time Internship  |  Paid

About the role

We are a compassionate home care agency dedicated to helping seniors and individuals with disabilities live safely and independently in their own homes. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Content Creator Intern to join our marketing team. This is a hands-on opportunity to build real-world experience while contributing to a mission that matters — ideal for students studying marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.

Internship details

•       Duration: 12–16 weeks (semester-aligned schedules welcome)

•       Hours: 15–20 hours per week, flexible around class schedules

•       Format: Hybrid (on-site for content shoots; remote for planning and scheduling)

•       Compensation: Paid hourly — rate shared upon offer

•       Academic credit: Available upon request; we will work with your institution

What you will do

•       Content creation: Draft and design daily/weekly posts for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok using Canva or similar tools

•       Storytelling: Help produce caregiver spotlights and care tips content that builds community trust

•       Video support: Assist with filming and editing short-form reels and behind-the-scenes clips

•       Scheduling: Use social media management tools to plan and publish content on a consistent calendar

•       Community engagement: Monitor comments and messages and flag responses for the team

•       Research: Track trends, competitor content, and hashtag performance to bring fresh ideas

•       Analytics: Pull weekly platform reports and help summarize key metrics for the team

What we are looking for

•       Currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field

•       Active personal presence on at least two major social media platforms

•       Basic experience with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar design tools

•       Clear, warm writing style — you can shift from professional to conversational with ease

•       Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to pitch ideas

•       Comfort working with sensitive topics and respecting privacy guidelines

•       Bonus: Any experience with short-form video (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts)

•       Bonus: Photography skills or a good eye for composition

What you will gain

•       A professional portfolio of real published content across multiple platforms

•       Hands-on mentorship from our marketing team

•       Experience in healthcare and mission-driven marketing — a highly valued niche

•       Letter of recommendation upon successful completion

•       Potential pathway to a full-time role for outstanding interns

•       Access to our content tools, templates, and brand guidelines

How to apply

Send your resume, a short paragraph about why this internship interests you, and any examples of content you have created (social profiles, class projects, personal accounts, or a brief portfolio link). No prior professional experience required — we want to see your creativity and voice.
