Experienced Caregiver Needed in Redlands (Short-Term + Ongoing Weekend Shift)

Pay: $18–$22/hour (based on experience)
Location: Redlands, CA

Schedule

  • Short-Term Coverage (2 Weeks): Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM 
  • Ongoing Schedule: Saturdays, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM 
About the Position

Homewatch CareGivers of Yorba Linda is seeking a highly experienced caregiver for a client in Redlands. This role begins with short-term weekday coverage and transitions into a consistent Saturday schedule.

This client requires hands-on care and strong safety awareness, so we are looking for someone confident, attentive, and experienced in higher-level caregiving support.

What You’ll Be Doing

  •  Assist with transfers (both manual and lift-assisted) 
  •  Support wheelchair mobility and positioning 
  •  Provide bed baths (with transition to showers) 
  •  Assist with toileting and personal care 
  •  Meal preparation and feeding assistance 
  •  Dressing and daily routine support 
  •  Encourage light exercise and mobility 
  •  Perform light housekeeping 
  •  Follow established care protocols and communicate with family/team 
Important:
This role requires a caregiver who can confidently guide and redirect the client during transfers and daily routines to ensure safety and consistency of care.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with transfers (including lift equipment) required
  •  Background in high-acuity care strongly preferred 
  •  Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation 
  •  Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) in California 
  •  Completed TB test 
  •  Ability to pass background screening 
Physical Requirements

  •  Ability to assist with transfers and mobility safely 
  •  Able to lift 25–40 pounds and support client movement 
  •  Able to stand, bend, and move for extended periods
