HHA's and Experienced Caregivers Needed In Indianapolis, Indiana and Surrounding Areas

We are hiring for caregivers around Indianapolis and the surrounding areas. Part time, full time, and PRN will be available.

Caregiver must have reliable transportation and clean background. Must Have experience with caregiving and senior care.
Duties
Provide direct care and assistance to individuals in a residential setting
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Lift and transfer individuals using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors
- Respect and uphold resident rights, privacy, and confidentiality
- Drive residents to appointments, activities, or outings as needed
- Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, errands, or community care locations.
-Document transportation activities accurately in accordance with facility policies.
-Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during transit.
Requirements

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Strong understanding of patient care procedures and safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and compassionate demeanor.
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting and assisting patients with mobility.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Valid and up to date car insurance
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed to accommodate patient schedules.
  • Must pass background checks and adhere to all health and safety regulations. This role is essential in delivering high-quality patient-centered transportation services within healthcare environments, ensuring comfort, safety, and efficiency for all patients served.
Experience:
- 2+ years experience
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies

Requirements: - Clean background - Do a required TB test - Must be 18 years or older with 2+ years of experience - Must be able to get a CPR certification - Must have reliable transportation

Expectations: - Represent the company in a professional manner - Wear professional attire (Scrubs) - Be able to maintain composure during difficult situations - Be respectful towards clients regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, etc. - Follow all company rules and regulations. Be reliable. Must be able to provide transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
