Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with psychiatric, behavioral health, and medical needs.
  • Assess and monitor patients’ physical, emotional, and behavioral conditions.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
  • Document patient care accurately and timely.
  • Respond appropriately to medical and behavioral emergencies.
  • Utilize therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques.
  • Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary treatment team.
  • Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and patient confidentiality requirements.
  • Provide clinical guidance and supervision to assigned nursing support staff, as appropriate.
Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted Maryland RN license
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Current Immunization Records
  • Current Health Physical Examination
  • Psychiatric, behavioral health, hospital, acute care, or related nursing experience preferred
  • Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to meet all facility credentialing and background requirements
Physical and Work Environment Requirements

  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Providing direct patient care and responding to patient needs.
  • Responding promptly to medical, psychiatric, and behavioral emergencies.
  • Working in a secure psychiatric or behavioral health environment.
  • Safely performing assigned duties in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Compensation: $48.00 - $51.00 per hour
