Job Description:

Growing home health care (private duty/non-skilled) agency seeking an RN licensed to practice in Florida to supervise client care and home care performance in the Sarasota/Bradenton/Tampa area. This position will attend new client assessments as needed and will develop the care plan for clients’ home care. They will also supervise and train all certified nursing assistants and home health aides and will help upper management determine aide assignments to clients based on their experience and qualifications.

Detailed Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct and document comprehensive nursing assessments.
  • Review medications and maintain lists of current client medications.
  • Develop and implement an individualized plan for the client and family/aide, with a goal of assisting the client in reaching the highest possible level of independence.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work on an interdisciplinary team.
  • Consult with the attending physician and interdisciplinary team as needed to establish plans of care.
  • Oversee and investigate client and physician concerns, risk management concerns and implement changes and training where necessary.
  • Perform recurring 60-day client supervisory visits with home health aides to ensure competency of staff.
  • Assist in reviewing, revising, and providing team member education regarding the Emergency Management program for office and agency staff.
  • Assist with home health aide new hire orientations.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • $50.00/Hr.

Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures:

  • Active RN (Registered Nurse) License in Florida (Required)
  • State of Florida Active Driver's License & Auto Insurance (Required)
  • CPR & First Aid License (Required)
Education:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Experience:

  • One year of supervisory experience in a home health care agency
Job Type: PRN (Part-Time) – Estimated hours: 10-30 per week

Schedule:

  • Mainly during the day, but some evenings required
  • Weekends as needed
Work Location: On the road in Sarasota / Bradenton / Tampa, FL
Compensation: $50.00 per hour
