You've built strong caregiving skills. You've supported challenging clients, helped families through difficult situations, and become someone others rely on when things get tough.
Now it's time for the next step.
At Benevolent Hearts Home Care, we're looking for an experienced CNA to join our team as a CNA Team Lead. This position is designed for experienced caregivers seeking more responsibility, greater impact, and a clear pathway into leadership within home care.
This is an excellent opportunity for CNAs interested in developing skills that can lead to future advancement opportunities in caregiver development, scheduling, staffing coordination, and care management.
This Role Is Different
As a Team Lead, you'll be one of the first people we call when a new client starts, a caregiver needs support, or a client situation requires extra attention. You'll serve as a bridge between clients, caregivers, and office leadership, helping ensure care runs smoothly throughout the service area. You won't sit behind a desk all day, but you'll play an important role in helping clients receive consistent care and helping caregivers succeed in the field.
Because our clients depend on us, Team Leads must be comfortable adapting to changing priorities and stepping in when urgent client or staffing needs arise.
Why Experienced CNAs Apply for This Role
Opportunity to step into leadership while remaining connected to client care
Exposure to scheduling, staffing, and operational responsibilities
Specialized dementia training
Supportive leadership team
Qualifications
Active Texas CNA certification required
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in home care, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation, hospice, skilled nursing, or a related healthcare setting
Experience supporting clients with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance
Ability to travel throughout the service area
Comfortable using smartphones and electronic documentation systems
Ability to safely transfer and assist clients as needed
Ready to take the next step in your career? Apply today to join Benevolent Hearts Home Care as a CNA Team Lead and begin building the leadership skills that can open the door to future advancement opportunities.

What you get
When you join our team
We built something here that most agencies haven't. Here's what joining the Benevolent Hearts team actually looks like.
Flexible work schedule
We have hours for you. If you’re not getting the hours you need where you are, we want to put you to work.
Recognition & culture
We celebrate the people who show up every day. Each month, two caregivers are recognized through our “Caught Caring” award, nominated by clients and managers and featured in our newsletter.
Through our Nectar rewards program, you earn points for going above and beyond, redeemable for gift cards. Birthdays and work anniversaries are recognized because those milestones matter.
Throughout the year we host events to show appreciation, including CNA Week, Caregiver Week, Halloween, Thanksgiving, back to school gift cards, and 10-year anniversary celebrations. Our annual Christmas party is a highlight for the whole team: everyone walks away with a gift, and the longer you’ve been with us, the bigger it gets.
Training & skill development
From day one, you’ll train hands-on in our dedicated skills room. You’ll also get access to thousands of training videos through Relias, organized into four levels based on your experience, including specialized dementia care training.
Monthly in-service sessions keep your skills sharp as you grow. And here’s what sets us apart: the more you learn, the more you earn.
Each training level you complete unlocks higher hourly pay. Your skills are rewarded, not just your title.
A clear path forward
We don’t leave you guessing where you can go. There’s a real career ladder here.
Benefits
We offer medical insurance, life insurance, and Aflac supplemental coverage. We also have something most agencies don’t: a full-time social worker on staff, available to you at no cost for resources, referrals, or just support when you need it.
She leads monthly in-service sessions focused specifically on caregiver wellbeing, because we know this work can be demanding and we want to make sure you’re taken care of too.
Compensation
Your starting pay is based on your experience and skill set, with CNAs receiving an additional bump. From there, your pay is not fixed: as you complete training levels and grow your skills, your hourly rate grows with you.
You also earn PTO through completing training, and after one year you’re eligible for our 401k with a matching program. If you refer another caregiver who joins the team and works 80 hours, you earn a $250 referral bonus.
