We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and energetic RN Supervisor with experience in Home Care.

Job Summary
We are seeking a part time RN Field Supervisor to work in a fast paced, diverse environment, where time management is essential. The RN Field Supervisor will ensure the retention, and development of the best caregivers to ensure quality care to our clients. In alignment with company mission, vision and values, the RN Filed Supervisor coordinates, implements, and manages service delivery to provide quality care to clients and their families.
We are seeking to hire a Registered Nurse (RN) who operates with great attention to detail and with a big heart. Must operate with pride in creating personalized care plans for clients and are able to observe and communicate effectively in the client's best interest. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skill in current nursing practices as well as be a strong penchant for solving problems. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for the supervision of the Personal Care Aides and the Companion Caregivers.
  • Responsible for the initial in-home Plan of Care of the client
  • Assure that the client and family understand the home Plan of Care and their responsibilities.
  • Make necessary revisions to the Plan of Care as required.
  • Teach and Delegate task to the Personal Care Aides and the Companion Caregivers
  • Maintain a safe environment for clients.
  • Maintain compliance with the state regulations affecting home care.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current health and home care practices.
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients and client’s family members.
  • Participate in the quality assurance reviews and evaluations of the services provided to the clients.
  • Conduct in-home supervisory visits in accordance with agency guidelines and/or state licensure regulations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to make appropriate nursing judgments.
  • Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently and diplomatically orally and writing.
  • Ability to remain flexible, resilient, and calm. 
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, delegate and accurately follow through in work activities with time constraints and interruptions to meet deadlines, as well as work independently with a minimum amount of direction and/or supervision.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate the care of clients with the caregiver and maintain a pleasant and cohesive working relationship.
  • Ability to generate goodwill for the Agency, with clients their family members and referral sources.
  • Possess and maintain good physical and mental health, including current TB testing.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of Maryland
  • 1-3 years experience in private duty home care preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
  • Valid driver’s license 
  • First aid/CPR certification required 
This job pays per assessment visit completed.
Compensation: $70.00 - $140.00 per hour
