Position Summary:

The Caregiver Lead is responsible for supervising, supporting, and guiding the caregiving team to ensure exceptional client care and service delivery. This role serves as a bridge between field caregivers and office staff, providing leadership, mentorship, and direct care when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to caregiving staff in the field.

  • Ensure caregivers follow individualized care plans and adhere to agency policies.

  • Conduct routine quality assurance visits to client homes.

  • Train new caregivers and assist with onboarding.

  • Support scheduling by helping cover shifts or reorganizing staff as needed.

  • Report client or caregiver concerns to office management promptly.

  • Model professionalism, compassion, and quality care at all times.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and assist with incident reporting.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED (required)

  • CNA, HHA, or related certification (preferred)

  • At least 2 years of caregiving experience

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in home care (preferred)

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment:

  • In-home care settings across client locations

  • Flexible schedule, including some evening or weekend shifts

  • Physical activity required, including lifting and mobility assistance

Compensation: $14.00 per hour
