Position Summary:
The Caregiver Lead is responsible for supervising, supporting, and guiding the caregiving team to ensure exceptional client care and service delivery. This role serves as a bridge between field caregivers and office staff, providing leadership, mentorship, and direct care when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and guidance to caregiving staff in the field.
- Ensure caregivers follow individualized care plans and adhere to agency policies.
- Conduct routine quality assurance visits to client homes.
- Train new caregivers and assist with onboarding.
- Support scheduling by helping cover shifts or reorganizing staff as needed.
- Report client or caregiver concerns to office management promptly.
- Model professionalism, compassion, and quality care at all times.
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist with incident reporting.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- CNA, HHA, or related certification (preferred)
- At least 2 years of caregiving experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in home care (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:
- In-home care settings across client locations
- Flexible schedule, including some evening or weekend shifts
- Physical activity required, including lifting and mobility assistance
Compensation: $14.00 per hour
