We are looking to fill Lead Caregiver positions to provide support, training and mentorship to our in-home caregivers. This is a 40 hour per week position that may require working some Saturday and Sunday shifts but in exchange you will get equivalent days off during the week.
Requirements:
- ActiveNAC in the State of Washington or CNA in Idaho and at least 2 years of in-home caregiver experience;
- Nurse Delegation Core and Nurse Delegation Diabetes Certificates ;
- reliable transportation for travel; including valid driver license, clean driving record and auto insurance;
- ability to work efficiently and proactively with elderly clients;
- ability/willingness to train and mentor other caregivers;
- Willingness to work a Saturday or Sunday as needed.
Responsibilities include:
- ability to work in Washington or Idaho;
- Willingness to provide care to new clients on the first 2 days and train the permanent caregiver;
- skills training for new caregivers as part of orientation;
- caregiver/client introductions and training in the field;
- assisting the care manager as needed with client and caregiver assessments;
- in times of need filling in for open shifts with our clients;
- Other tasks as needed to support the office, caregivers or clients.
