Overview:
The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring quality care for assigned clients. Their responsibilities include introducing and training new caregivers to clients, developing and updating care plans, conducting new hire orientation training, filling in for call-off shifts, being part of the “Ready Care” team and conducting supervisory visits for staff.
The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring quality care for assigned clients and works as an active member of the care team (including hands-on support as needed) while mentoring and training caregivers. This role requires daily travel to clients’ homes and the willingness to visit multiple homes in the same day. Responsibilities include introducing and training new caregivers to clients, developing and updating care plans, conducting new hire orientation training, filling in for call-off shifts, being part of the “Ready Care” team, and conducting supervisory visits for staff.
- This is an 80% in-field position and 20% in-office position.
- Must be available from 8 AM to 8 PM, 3 to 5 days per week, and every other weekend, and on holidays.
- Travel to clients' homes on a daily basis.
- Willing to travel to multiple homes on the same day.
- Assist the scheduler in care planning and team coordination.
- Evaluate and improve current client care services.
- Train and mentor new team members.
- Join the Ready Care (On-Call) Team
- 90 Day Paid On the Job Training program for Team Lead Position.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Flexibility to adjust to the needs of the day
- Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience in 1:1 in-home senior care
- Willingness to work with all different types of clients and care needs
- May travel to multiple homes in one day
- Available to work 4-5 days per week 8am – 8pm and Every Other weekend
- Successful completion of Initial Orientation.
- Pass Criminal Background & Driving Record Check.
- Valid employment credentials (Driver’s License, Insurance, Registration).
- Positive and professional attitude with clients and team members.
