How You’ll Contribute

Own the Recruiting Pipeline
- Write keyword-rich job posts, screen resumes, interview candidates, and deliver hire/no-hire recommendations.
- Lead new-hire orientation every two weeks; ensure caregivers meet credential, TB, and background-check requirements.

Champion Employee Relations
- Coach managers on performance conversations, document disciplinary actions, and facilitate neutral exit interviews.
- Rotate on-call (every three weeks) to resolve urgent caregiver or client concerns after hours.

- Maintain spotless digital and paper personnel files for DOH, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance.
- Monitor PTO, sick leave, FMLA, worker’s-comp claims, and E-Verify deadlines.

Drive Data & Reporting
- Produce monthly new-hire and turnover dashboards; translate trends into actionable insights for the Director.
- Present mini-trainings to office staff and field caregivers—topics from “Infection-Control Updates” to “Conflict Resolution 101.”

What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of HR experience—preferably in home care, hospice, or another healthcare setting
- Fluency with HRIS / ATS platforms (AxisCare, ClearCare/WellSky, or similar) and solid Microsoft Office skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and state labor laws affecting direct-care workers
- Confident presenter who can engage small groups and communicate policy in plain language
- Organized multitasker able to juggle audits, orientation, PTO tracking, and on-call duties without missing a beat
