As our Community Relations & Growth Specialist, you will be the face of Comfort Keepers in the community — building lasting partnerships with referral sources, representing our services at local events, and guiding prospective families toward care solutions that f it their situation.
The right person has worked in senior care, hospice, home health, or a healthcare liaison role and understands the emotional weight of these conversations. They are a natural relationship-builder who understands that consistent outreach and follow-through are what turn connections into clients.

What You will Do
Cultivate Relationships, Community partnerships & outreach

• Build and nurture relationships with hospital discharge planners, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, physicians, elder law attorneys, and faith communities
• Serve as Comfort Keepers' representative at community events, health fairs, and senior centers across the territories.
• Develop and deliver CE presentations and educational events for healthcare professionals conducting on‑site visits, Lunch‑and‑Learns, presentations, and networking events to build trust and visibility.
• Follow a structured community outreach formula: 35–55 face-to-face visits per week across referral audiences
Family & client engagement
• Conduct compassionate consultative visits with prospective clients and their families
• Present value-based home care solutions tailored to each family's situation
• Serve as a warm, knowledgeable point of contact for families navigating a difficult decision
• Follow up on leads and inquiries in a timely and organized manner
Business development
• Identify new markets, partnerships, and community opportunities that align with our growth goals
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
• Maintain and grow an active base of 15+ referral sources generating regular leads
Reporting & accountability
• Track all activity, contacts, and follow-ups in the CRM platform consistently
• Compile and share data and reports to identify trends and inform recommendations
• Attend regularly scheduled team meetings and contribute to collective strategy
• Work collaboratively with intake and operations to ensure every referral receives a warm, professional follow-through

- Cultivate relationships – conduct on‑site visits, Lunch‑and‑Learns, presentations, and networking events to build trust and visibility.
- Educate & position solutions – clearly communicate how Comfort Keepers improves outcomes, lowers readmissions, and supports family caregivers.
- Collaborate on marketing – partner with the marketing team to craft brochures, digital content, and slide decks that wow prospects.
- Track market intel – monitor competitor activity, industry trends, and referral conversion data; share insights with leadership.
- Generate & qualify leads – leverage cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, and community outreach to fill the pipeline with qualified clients.
- Partner with care coordination – ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing satisfaction; troubleshoot issues quickly.
- Log every touchpoint – maintain accurate, timely notes in our CRM so the whole team stays aligned.
- Hit (and beat) goals – meet monthly referral, revenue, and growth targets with confidence and creativity.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- 2+ years’ success in business development, sales, or community outreach—healthcare or home‑care industry strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; you thrive on meeting new people
- Self‑starter who loves setting strategies and executing the details
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/Sales platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
- Reliable transportation for frequent local travel; valid driver’s license (Mileage Reimbursement Included)
- Passion for improving lives and representing services that make a difference
