Home Care Scheduler – Behind-the-Scenes Hero of Care
Full-Time | Monday–Friday Day Shift | Glendora

Every dependable caregiver visit begins with a dependable schedule.
As our Home Care Scheduler, you will coordinate caregivers, client needs, availability, location, and last-minute changes so clients receive consistent care and caregivers have clear, accurate schedules.

Why This Role Matters

You will serve as the communication hub between caregivers, clients, and our internal team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, staying several steps ahead, and bringing calm organization to a fast-moving home care environment.

What We Offer

•             Competitive pay: $22-24/hour

•             Healthcare stipend

•             Paid time off

•             Professional development and ongoing training

•             Growth opportunities toward Care Coordinator or other leadership roles

•             A collaborative, people-first culture where your work directly supports clients and caregivers

What You’ll Do

•             Build and maintain schedules. Coordinate daily and weekly caregiver schedules based on client needs, caregiver availability, location, skills, and service requirements.

•             Plan ahead. Confirm upcoming shifts, track caregiver time off and client requests, and keep scheduling records accurate and current.

•             Respond to changes. Proactively address call-outs, cancellations, last-minute changes, and coverage gaps; promptly identify and contact qualified replacement caregivers.

•             Create strong matches. Develop a working knowledge of caregiver strengths, experience, preferences, and availability to support continuity and client satisfaction.

•             Keep everyone informed. Communicate schedules and changes clearly and professionally with caregivers, clients, managers, and other internal team members by phone, text, and scheduling software.

•             Coordinate with the team. Work closely with the Care Coordinator and other office staff, escalating scheduling conflicts or client concerns when appropriate.

•             Maintain reliable systems. Enter and update information in the agency’s scheduling or home care management platform and maintain accurate documentation.

•             Support caregiver success. Assist with onboarding and scheduling readiness for new caregivers and share observations that may improve retention and service reliability.

•             Support agency operations. Answer scheduling-related calls and assist with other coordination and administrative responsibilities as needed. Share in on-call rotation with team.

What You Bring

•             One to three years of scheduling, staffing, dispatching, or coordination experience; home care or healthcare experience is strongly preferred

•             Strong organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills

•             The ability to manage a high volume of requests and shifting priorities without losing accuracy

•             Calm, resourceful problem-solving when urgent coverage needs arise

•             Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and a professional, empathetic approach

•             Comfort using scheduling platforms, CRM or home care management software, Microsoft Office, phone, and text communication

•             High school diploma or GED; additional education in business or healthcare administration is a plus

•             Ability to pass required background screenings

Who Thrives Here

You are proactive, dependable, and composed under pressure. You communicate respectfully, notice details others may miss, love puzzles, and understand that reliable coverage affects real people—not just a calendar. You enjoy collaborating with an office team while taking ownership of the schedule.

What We Offer

We Are Different
We work with our compassionate caregivers to create a supportive environment where both clients and caregivers thrive. Clients can experience loneliness, helplessness and boredom and this can get in the way of care. We value getting to know our clients deeply and care is centered on their individual needs and goals. We believe that meaningful relationships are built from matching caregivers with clients that have common interests.
Empowering You with Technology; No More Paperwork!
Our technology allows you to have information at your fingertips and eliminate extra paperwork. We know your time is important. You will be able to use our caregiver app to manage your shift and provide feedback to the office. The information you capture while in the home, directly impacts the clients progress of care and their well-being.
Supporting You
Our training provides you the skills you need to be successful. When an emergency happens, you can respond confidently because of training you have received ahead of time. We work together so everyone feels involved, connected and engaged.
You Talk. We Listen.
You are the heart of the company — the eyes and ears in the homes of our clients. Without you, we wouldn’t have a business. What you see and hear helps inform our clients’ experience and well-being.
Flexibility
You have a life; we get it. We work with you to create flexible schedules that honor work-life balance. Whether you want consistent, full time hours or a few shifts a week, we strive to meet your needs.
